Princess Diana's iconic "black sheep" sweater, first worn in 1981, will be auctioned by Sotheby's Fashion Icons auction in New York and online between August 31 and September 14. The original sweater, expected to fetch $50,000 to $80,000, was created by knitwear label Warm & Wonderful and features rows of white sheep and one black sheep on the front. Diana's influence popularized the small clothing business, and a replica was created for actor Emma Corrin in "The Crown."
