Jared Leto stole the show at the Met Gala with his hyper-realistic Choupette cat costume, created by production studio SCPS. The design team had just four weeks to create the costume, which was kept under tight security to prevent leaks. Leto wanted the costume to look like a real cat, and the team used synthetic fur and battery-powered fans to achieve the effect. The costume had to be quickly removed to reveal a second outfit underneath, and Leto's own shoes were worn over step-out platforms within the cat's paws.
