Director Daniel Kwan wore a bespoke scarlet tuxedo designed by LA menswear label Goodfight to the Oscars, which was a nod to a costume worn by Michelle Yeoh's character in their film Everything Everywhere All at Once. The tuxedo featured chenille patches and chain-stitched vines inspired by the original cardigan, and a jade bolo tie referencing another element of the character's costume. Goodfight, an Asian American fashion label, has quickly established itself as a preeminent brand in the industry and was grateful for the opportunity to dress Kwan for the Oscars.
