Alex Consani Makes History as First Trans Woman Model of the Year

Alex Consani made history by becoming the first out trans woman to be named Model of the Year at the British Fashion Council's 2024 Fashion Awards. In her acceptance speech, she acknowledged the Black trans women who paved the way for her success and urged parents to support their trans children. Consani, who has been breaking barriers in the fashion industry, wore a Union Jack-inspired dress by Dilara Findikoglu for the event.
