"Mayor Adams Brings the Beats to Sedgwick Avenue with Hip-Hop Block Party"

Mayor Eric Adams hosted a hip-hop block party on Sedgwick Avenue in the Bronx to celebrate the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. The event took place outside the building where hip-hop is said to have been born, and it was part of the 5X5 Block Party series in partnership with ItsAllBlackMusic. Hip-hop lovers gathered to celebrate the cultural contribution of the genre.
