Warner Bros. Japan and WIT Studio have announced a new anime series titled "Suicide Squad Isekai," which takes DC characters to a different world. Directed by Eri Osada, the show will feature Harley and Joker as the lead characters and will explore a fantasy world filled with magical creatures. The series is not connected to James Gunn's upcoming DC reboot and has received permission from DC to incorporate magic into the story. The trailer showcased stylized 2D visuals and hinted at a unique interpretation of the Joker character.
