Tom Schwartz's Martian Escape and Vanderpump Drama

Tom Schwartz, a cast member of Vanderpump Rules, fled Los Angeles after filming the reunion and found himself in Coober Pedy, Australia, to film Stars on Mars, a reality competition show. Schwartz admitted that he was looking for an escape from the chaos in his life and that the alternate reality aspect of the show was very appealing. The experience was a needed change of pace for Schwartz, who struggled with his brother's testicular cancer diagnosis and his father's catastrophic blood clots. Participating in Stars on Mars was therapeutic and an avenue to re-assess priorities.
