Taron Egerton stars in thrilling Tetris biopic.

The origin story of the iconic computer game "Tetris" is now a film, releasing on March 31 on Apple TV+. The movie tells the story of game designer Henk Rogers, played by Taron Egerton, who travels to the Soviet Union in 1988 to meet Tetris designer Alexey Pajitnov, hoping to secure worldwide distribution rights to the game. The film was directed by Jon S. Baird and produced by Matthew Vaughn. The duo behind Tetris was involved heavily in the scriptwriting and detailing the imagery of Soviet Russia, much of which was recreated in Aberdeen and Glasgow, Scotland.
