"Reba McEntire Set to Star in New NBC Sitcom Pilot"

Reba McEntire is set to star in and executive produce a new untitled multi-camera comedy for NBC, which has received a pilot order. The show, from Universal TV, will see McEntire playing a woman who inherits her father's restaurant and discovers she has a new business partner in the form of a half-sister she never knew she had. The project reunites McEntire with the team behind her previous sitcoms "Reba" and "Malibu Country," and marks her return to the sitcom world after recent appearances in "Young Sheldon" and "Big Sky." Kevin Abbott, known for his work on "Last Man Standing," is the writer and executive producer for the new show.
