Paramount+ Cancels Multiple Shows, Including 'Grease' and 'Star Trek: Prodigy'

Creator Annabel Oakes expressed her devastation after Paramount+ canceled and removed the series Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies from its streaming service. The prequel to the classic movie premiered on April 6 and ran through the beginning of June. Paramount Television Studios is still planning to shop the series to other broadcasters and streamers. The show takes place four years before the original Grease and stars Marisa Davila, Cheyenne Isabel Wells, Ari Notartomaso, Tricia Fukuhara, Shanel Bailey, Madison Thompson, Johnathan Nieves, Jason Schmidt, Maxwell Whittington-Cooper, and Jackie Hoffman.
