Netflix Expands Addams Family Universe with 'Wednesday' Spinoff

Netflix is in the early stages of developing a spinoff series centered around Uncle Fester, the paternal uncle of Wednesday Addams, from the successful show "Wednesday." The spinoff idea was already in discussion before the series premiered, and the creators expressed their desire to expand the Addams Family world beyond just Wednesday. Amazon MGM Studios, which produces the series, is also on board with the spinoff. "Wednesday" became Netflix's biggest series to date in terms of streaming "views" and was renewed for a second season.
