Mel Gibson stars in bloody 'John Wick' prequel series 'The Continental' on Peacock.

The teaser trailer for Peacock's three-part limited series, "The Continental," a prequel to the John Wick film saga, has been released, but its top-billed actor, Mel Gibson, is absent from the footage. Gibson plays a character named Cormac in the series, which explores the origin of the hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe. The series stars Colin Woodell as a young Winston Scott, the Continental Hotel owner played by Ian McShane in the films. "The Continental" is set to premiere in September 2023.
