Disgraced former "Today" anchor Matt Lauer has reportedly distanced himself from many of his old friends and spends most of his time on a farm in New Zealand. Lauer, who was fired from the NBC morning show in 2017 due to allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior, has drastically changed his social circle and sold his property in the Hamptons. He is currently dating Shamin Abas and maintains a co-parenting relationship with his ex-wife Annette Roque. Lauer's friendship with former "Today" host Bryant Gumbel remains strong, and Gumbel has been supportive of Lauer during his difficult times.
