Lizzo's Legal Troubles: Settlements and Unfazed Recording

Prior to the recent lawsuit filed against Lizzo for sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment, 14 dancers who worked with the singer settled a separate dispute regarding the use of intimate footage in her documentary. The dancers claimed that the footage was used without their consent and that they were not compensated. The settlement included a nondisparagement and confidentiality clause. The recent lawsuit accuses Lizzo, her production company, and dance captain Shirlene Quigley of various allegations, including sexual harassment, religious and racial harassment, and false imprisonment. Lizzo has denied the allegations and emphasized her commitment to respecting women.
