A photo circulating on social media appeared to show Gal Gadot, the actress who portrayed "Wonder Woman," turning up to serve in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). However, the photo was from Gadot's military years and not recent. Prior to her acting career, Gadot served as a combat fitness instructor in the IDF for two years, including during the 2006 Lebanon war. While she did not join the IDF again in 2023, she did show support for Israel amid the ongoing conflict by signing her name alongside other celebrities.
