The 2023 Creative Arts Emmys saw "Welcome to Wrexham" dominate the unscripted and documentary categories with six wins, while Stephanie Filo and Keke Palmer made history with their wins. Filo became the first editor to be nominated for three different shows in a single year and the first Black female editor to be nominated three times in a single year, while Palmer became the first Black woman to win an Emmy for outstanding host for a game show.
