The searches are connected to an investigation by federal authorities in New York, but it's unclear if they're related to the sexual assault and rape allegations raised in lawsuits against Combs. The music mogul, known for his influence in hip-hop and entertainment, has vehemently denied the lawsuits' allegations, including those from his former girlfriend and R&B singer Cassie. Last year, Combs stepped down as chairman of his cable television network Revolt amid the sexual abuse allegations, and he withdrew a lawsuit against Diageo as part of a settlement earlier this year.
