Chuck Norris has settled a lawsuit against CBS and Sony Pictures, alleging that he was deprived of at least $30 million in profits for the TV series "Walker, Texas Ranger." Norris claimed that the companies violated his contract by not paying him 23% of profits earned from the show's exploitation, particularly from streaming video-on-demand (SVOD) revenue. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed. The case was dismissed by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge, and Sony was dropped from the case last year.
