Dua Lipa has released "Dance the Night," the first single from the upcoming Barbie movie soundtrack, and stars in the live-action film as a mermaid Barbie. The music video features a cameo from Barbie writer, director, and executive producer Greta Gerwig. The movie will feature multiple variations of Barbie and Ken, while following Margot Robbie's doll heroine as she faces an existential crisis in the candy-colored Barbie Land and embarks on a journey to the real world. Ryan Gosling stars as the central Ken, while Issa Rae, Kate McKinnon, Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa, Nicola Coughlan, Hari Nef, and Kingsley Ben-Adir play other takes on the toys.
