Netflix chief content officer Bela Bajaria pushed back on reports that Netflix is distancing itself from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, saying “don’t believe whatever you read” and noting the company still has projects with Archewell (films, a doc, and TV/film development). The remarks came after a Variety piece about a falling-out, which Netflix called inaccurate, even as the company has been renegotiating deals with the couple, including exiting Markle’s lifestyle brand As Ever and downgrading the overall deal to a first-look arrangement.
