"Verdict Reached: Gang Members Convicted in FBG Duck Murder Case"

Six purported gang members associated with O-Block were found guilty of the 2020 murder of rapper FBG Duck in Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood. The jury convicted them of murder in furtherance of a racketeering scheme, with a mandatory life sentence for the conviction. The killing was part of a long-standing conflict between factions of the Black Disciples and Gangster Disciples on the South Side. The defendants were accused of traveling to the Gold Coast neighborhood and carrying out the shooting before driving off. The sentencing hearings are expected in August and September.
