Tory Lanez Denied Bail, Sentenced to Prison in Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Case

Tory Lanez, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting rapper Megan Thee Stallion, will serve his sentence in state prison after a motion for bail was denied by Judge David V. Herriford. Lanez's lawyers had requested for him to be allowed to live in the Los Angeles area with his family while his case is appealed. Lanez, whose legal name is Daystar Peterson, was found guilty of assault and firearm charges in December. He maintains his innocence and vows to continue fighting.
