Roman Polanski's wife interviews rape victim who claims she's "fine"

Samantha Geimer, who was raped by Roman Polanski in 1977 when she was 13 years old, has defended the director in an interview with France’s Le Point magazine conducted by Polanski’s wife, Emmanuelle Seigner. Geimer said that what happened with Polanski was never a big problem for her and that she was fine then and still is. She also said that Polanski has served his sentence and paid his debt to society, and anyone who thinks he deserves to be in prison is wrong. Polanski fled the US in 1978 while still under probation after his legal team got word that he was going to face imprisonment on additional charges.
