Rapper Taxstone Convicted of Manslaughter in Shooting at T.I.'s Concert.

Hip-hop podcast host Taxstone, whose real name is Daryl Campbell, was convicted of manslaughter, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon in relation to a 2016 shooting at T.I.'s concert at Irving Plaza in New York City. The incident resulted in the death of rapper Troy Ave's bodyguard and injuries to others. Troy Ave sued the venue and Live Nation over lack of security, while fans in attendance sued the venue and claimed they were trampled amid the chaos after shots were fired. Sentencing is set for April 19, 2023.
