Rapper NBA YoungBoy Arrested in Utah on Drug and Weapon Charges

Rapper NBA YoungBoy, also known as Kentrell Gaulden, has been arrested in Utah on 20 counts each of drug and forgery charges, as well as weapon charges and a count of possession of controlled substances. He had been living in Utah on house arrest while facing felony gun charges in Baton Rouge. His attorney is still learning details about the arrest, and the Sheriff's Office has not released additional information. Gaulden's legal troubles also include charges related to a 2020 music video shoot and a 2016 drive-by shooting, for which he is set to be tried starting July 15.
