Lostprophets' Ian Watkins Reportedly Stabbed and Held Hostage in Prison

Former LOSTPROPHETS singer Ian Watkins, serving a 29-year sentence for child sex offences, was reportedly stabbed in a British maximum security prison. He is in a life-threatening condition after being taken hostage by three inmates and freed by prison officers six hours later. Watkins was convicted in 2013 of 13 child sex offenses and admitted to attempted rape, sexual assault, and conspiring to rape a child. His bandmates disbanded following his guilty plea. Watkins was also found guilty in 2019 of possessing a mobile phone in prison.
