Gypsy Rose Blanchard Granted Early Prison Release

Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who was convicted of second-degree murder in connection to the death of her mother, is reportedly being released from prison three years ahead of her original release date. Gypsy's mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, allegedly forced her daughter to fake disabilities for years and suffered from Munchausen by proxy. Gypsy's then-boyfriend, Nick Godejohn, also confessed to the murder. Gypsy spoke about the traumatic events on Dr. Phil's talk show and expressed that she felt prison was not the right place for her.
