Florida Woman Pleads Not Guilty in Rihanna Home Shooting Case

Florida-based Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 35, pleaded not guilty in Los Angeles to attempted murder and more than a dozen related charges after prosecutors say she fired about 20 rounds from an AR-style rifle at Rihanna's Beverly Crest home on March 8, aiming at Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, their three children and others; no one was injured. Ortiz remains detained with bail set at $1.875 million, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 8. The DA says the attack was premeditated and included a wig disguise; a judge barred Ortiz from working as a speech pathologist in California. She faces 10 felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and 3 felony counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling, with a potential life sentence if convicted. Ortiz's white Tesla was located about eight miles away in Sherman Oaks.
