Busfield Detained as New Minor-Abuse Allegation Surfaces

A New Mexico judge ordered actor Timothy Busfield detained without bond as he faces two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and one count of child sex abuse. Prosecutors added a new, uncharged allegation that Busfield kissed and touched a 16-year-old girl in California years ago. Two boys allege inappropriate touching on the Albuquerque set of The Cleaning Lady; Busfield turned himself in after a warrant was issued. A studio investigation previously found no corroborating evidence. His wife, Melissa Gilbert, has expressed support.
