"Founding Mr. Bungle Member Arrested for Girlfriend's Murder in Bay Area"

Theobald "Theo" Lengyel, a former member of the rock band Mr. Bungle, was arrested after human remains, believed to be those of his missing girlfriend Alice "Alix" Kamakaokalani Herrmann, were found in a California park. Herrmann, a competitive paddler, was last seen on December 3 and was reported missing when she missed a flight to Hawaii. Evidence suggested she was a victim of homicide, and Lengyel, who had not been cooperating with the investigation, was named a primary person of interest. Formal identification of the remains is pending, and Lengyel is being held without bail.
