Orlando woman pleads not guilty after Rihanna shooting, says she wasn’t aiming to kill

Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 35, of Orlando, pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and nine counts of assault after firing an AR-style rifle at Rihanna’s West L.A. home on March 8, injuring no one but alarming the couple inside. Rihanna and ASAP Rocky were in an Airstream on the property when the gunfire occurred. Ortiz told investigators she wasn’t trying to murder anyone, and prosecutors say she fired about 20 rounds; she remains jailed on $1.8 million bail, with a judge denying a request to lower it.
