Martin Short’s Daughter Katherine Hartley Short Dies at 42

Katherine Hartley Short, 42, the adopted daughter of Martin Short and Nancy Dolman, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, per TMZ. An LA-based licensed clinical social worker and mental-health advocate who studied at NYU and USC, she previously worked at UCLA’s Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital and in private practice. She is survived by her father and two brothers, and her family requests privacy during their mourning.
