Disney Unveils Asteria: A New Storyliving Community in Chatham County

Disney has announced plans to build a new residential community called Asteria in Chatham County, North Carolina. The community, part of the Chatham Park development, will feature over 4,000 residential units spread across 1,500 acres. It will include single- and multi-family homes, with designated sites for adults aged 55 and older. Amenities will include a recreation center, restaurant, sport courts, swimming pools, and more, with enrichment programming provided by Disney. The community is set to begin selling homes in 2027.
