Austin's Native Hostel Space Transforms into Mini Golf and Entertainment Hub

The Native, a business incubator in East Austin that housed several restaurants, is permanently closed and will be replaced by a putt-putt golf course called Holey Moley in November 2023. The new location will feature 27 holes and serve food and drinks. The closure of the Native has affected the restaurants and food trucks inside, including Toshokan, Tiny Diner, Mama A’s, and La Santa Barbacha. While some have closed or relocated, others have been offered the opportunity to stay. Holey Moley is owned by Funlab, an Australian company that specializes in entertainment venues.
