Alamo Drafthouse Shuts Down Multiple Theaters in Texas and Minnesota

Five Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas in Dallas-Fort Worth and one in Minnesota are closing immediately as their franchisee, Two is One, One is None LLC, files for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The closures affect over 600 employees and reduce Alamo's total locations from 43 to 37. The franchisee cited financial struggles, including franchise fees and unprofitable locations, as reasons for the closures. Alamo Drafthouse corporate is working to reopen in these cities and continues its expansion plans.
