WGA 2026 Nominations Spotlight Sinners, Pluribus and More Across Film and TV

The 2026 Writers Guild Awards nominees span film, television and documentary, with Sinners, One Battle After Another, Hamnet and Marty Supreme leading Original Screenplay nominations and Bugonia, Frankenstein, Hamnet, One Battle After Another, Train Dreams among Adapted contenders. Apple TV+'s Pluribus tops TV noms with four nods across Drama Series, New Series and two episodic categories, while other major TV contenders include Andor, Severance, The White Lotus, Hacks, Abbott Elementary, The Rehearsal, The Studio, The Chair Company and The Pitt. The awards will be handed out March 8 in concurrent LA and NYC ceremonies, with Don Reo receiving the Paddy Chayefsky Laurel Award and additional guild honors announced for TV writing on both coasts.
