"Rare Rembrandt Portraits Up for Auction at Christie's"

Two previously unknown Rembrandt portraits of an elderly Dutch couple have been discovered in a private collection and will be sold by Christie's in London on July 6. The paintings, dating back to 1635, have never been displayed publicly and are estimated to be worth between $6.26 million and $10 million. The portraits were authenticated by the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam and have sufficient provenance information to suggest they are genuine Rembrandts.
