Arrest Made in Murder of NYC Art Dealer in Brazil

Brazilian police have arrested a man in connection with the killing of New York art dealer Brent Sikkema, who was found with stab wounds in his Rio de Janeiro apartment. The suspect was apprehended at a gas station 600 miles northwest of Rio de Janeiro and is believed to be involved in a robbery resulting in death. Sikkema, 75, represented artists such as Kara Walker and Jeffrey Gibson, and his gallery, Sikkema Jenkins & Co., is known for its focus on contemporary art.
