United Airlines passengers missed the chance to celebrate New Year's Eve twice after their 'time travel' flight from Guam to Honolulu, which was supposed to land on the evening of Dec. 31st by crossing the International Date Line, was delayed over six hours and arrived on Jan. 1st instead. The airline had promoted the unique flight experience on social media, but due to the delay, passengers landed in the new year, missing the opportunity to ring in 2023 twice. United Airlines has yet to comment on the situation but has offered rebooking assistance to affected passengers.
