United Flight Diverted to Chicago Due to Unruly Passenger's Tantrum Over Meal Choice

A United Airlines flight from Houston to Amsterdam was diverted to Chicago after a passenger in business class threw a tantrum over his meal choice. The passenger was upset that his preferred meal was not available and was also reportedly intoxicated. The plane had to dump fuel to land safely in Chicago, where the disruptive passenger was removed from the aircraft. The flight later continued to Amsterdam. Flight diversions due to passenger disruptions are not uncommon.
