A Russian man named Sergey Vladimirovich Ochigava managed to fly from Europe to LAX without a passport, visa, or plane ticket. He interacted with flight crew, ate meals, and spoke to other passengers during the flight. Ochigava evaded security in Copenhagen, Denmark, and was not on the flight's manifest or passenger list. Upon arrival in the U.S., he was unable to pass the examination by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Ochigava claimed to have no memory of how he got to Copenhagen or how he went through security without a ticket. The incident has left officials and authorities confused.
