Fatal Fall from Balcony on Virgin Voyages Cruise Ship.

A passenger on Virgin Voyages' Valiant Lady ship died after falling from a balcony shortly after departure on Sunday. The ship was redirected back to Miami, and the cruise line is working closely with local officials. The ship has since resumed sailing with an adjusted itinerary. Between 2009 and 2019, there were 292 serious injuries to passengers or crew members on cruise ships and 126 minor injuries, according to statistics compiled for Cruise Lines International Association.
