A three-year world cruise organized by Life at Sea Cruises has been canceled just weeks before its scheduled departure, leaving passengers devastated. The unique voyage, covering 130,000 miles, 375 ports, and 135 countries, was eagerly anticipated by passengers who had paid at least $29,999 per year. One woman even sold her apartment to fund her retirement cruise. The cancellation was attributed to financial difficulties faced by the parent company, Miray Cruises, which couldn't afford the ship. Passengers were promised refunds, but some are left without a home to return to and are struggling to make alternative plans.
