Comparing Costs: Driving vs. Brightline from West Palm Beach to Orlando

With the launch of Brightline's service from South Florida to Orlando, a comparison was made between the prices and times of driving versus taking the train. While driving took approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes, Brightline arrived in Orlando 40 minutes faster. The cost of driving, including gas, tolls, and wear and tear, amounted to $108, while a Brightline trip for two adults and two children would cost $236. Additional expenses such as rideshare and parking fees increased the total cost for both options.
