"Tragic Second Fatality at Austin Airport as Employee Struck by Vehicle"

An on-duty employee at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport was fatally struck by a vehicle on the secure side of the airport where aircraft park for passenger boarding. This is the second deadly incident involving airport or airline personnel at ABIA this year. The airport operations and flights were unaffected, and an investigation is ongoing.
