NTSB Report: Broken Part Forces Delta Flight Emergency Landing at CLT Airport

A preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) reveals that a fractured lock link caused the nose gear of a Delta plane to fail to extend, resulting in an emergency landing at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Despite the incident, all 104 passengers and crew on board were unharmed. The flight crew attempted to manually extend the gear but was unsuccessful, leading to the decision to proceed with the landing. The broken part has been sent to an NTSB lab for further investigation.
