Multiple Ramps on I-196 and I-496 to Close for Upgrades

Two ramps along I-196 in the Grand Rapids area will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting Monday, May 15, and lasting through Sunday, May 21, due to construction work. The ramps affected are the one from westbound I-196 to northbound U.S. 131 and the on ramp from Division/Ionia avenues to westbound I-196. The closures are weather dependent, according to Michigan Department of Transportation officials.
