Multiple Injuries Reported as LIRR Train Derails in Queens

At least seven minor injuries have been reported after a Long Island Rail Road train derailed in Queens, east of Jamaica Station. The FDNY stated that eight cars of the train derailed, and the MTA is bringing in a rescue train to transport passengers to Jamaica Station. Eastbound trains are bypassing certain stations, and NYC Transit is cross-honoring on select buses.
