X, the social network owned by Elon Musk, experienced a 45-minute outage where links posted to the platform were not working. The site's link-shortening service, t.co, returned error messages when clicked on. Musk has previously expressed his dislike for links on X, as they drive people off the platform, and the company's algorithm deprioritizes them.
