Wordle Sues Geography Game Worldle Over Name Dispute

The New York Times has legally challenged Kory McDonald, the developer of the location guessing game Worldle, for allegedly creating consumer confusion and capitalizing on the success of Wordle. Despite previously stating that similar games were acceptable, the Times claims Worldle is nearly identical to Wordle in appearance and commercial impression. McDonald, surprised and disappointed by the challenge, has no plans to stop his game.
